"My family owns a daughter of Brennas Golden Dunit who we adore. Sassie is a very smart and athletic mare who is quick on her feet. She wants to please me with everything I ask of her. She has the biggest heart and personality that I've ever seen in a horse. Sassie was the first horse that my sister and I started on our own, and she ended up teaching us more than I would've ever imagined. I started her on the barrels at the end of July, 2015. She was second in the open 3D a week after I started her and continues to get faster with every run. Sassie had to take over the job of being my "main" rodeo horse when my rodeo horse went lame the previous year. Not only was she my barrel horse, she also became my goat tying horse. At the first rodeo I entered her in we placed 4th in the goats out of 40 girls. Through out the fall season we placed in the top ten at every rodeo and ended up winning the average at 2 of the 5 rodeos. I'm very impressed with the mental toughness of these horses. My mare learned how to be a goat, barrel, pole and breakaway horse all within a month and exceeded my expectations every time I entered her. I am very blessed to have a "Goldie" baby in my life.
